I could not have asked for a better second father or role model. CMSGT Harrison ‘Bud’ Golem served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam, flew on B-25s, B-29s and AC-130s (among a multitude of other aircraft.) Bud retired from the USAF in ’67, then did another 20 years as a civilian contractor heading up special projects at the aircraft mod center at WPAFB until ’87. A much larger bio on Bud’s service history will come later.
